Tenant Representation

At Dowers Commercial, we believe it is extremely difficult, if even possible at all, to adequately represent both parties in a real estate transaction. It would be like an attorney representing both parties in a lawsuit. Neither side gets the benefit of undivided representation. That is why we choose to represent only one party in real estate transactions – the tenant or buyer. By doing so, we can be completely objective, fully representing you with no divided loyalties. You’ll find a number of commercial brokers representing both landlords and tenants, but we are the only firm in Eastern Washington that represents tenants and buyers exclusively. We made the deliberate decision to make that our focus when we opened our doors in 2000 in response to what we saw as a market in need of specialized advisors representing tenants and buyers in commercial real estate transactions.

In our role as your representative, you will have the benefit of an advocate in your corner with vast experience in real estate and knowledge of the local commercial market. You may have a requirement and perhaps some challenges, and you need solutions. Our goal is not simply to get a deal done, but to understand your specific issues and work with you to develop practical solutions. We utilize our experience, market knowledge and partnership approach to help find those solutions.

We utilize a very thorough process for working out the best real estate solutions for our clients, but ultimately we adapt the process to meet each client's individual needs and expectations, which may include any or all of the following phases:
  • Needs assessment
  • Market research, developing options
  • Evaluation/comparison of prospective sites
  • Proposal solicitation and analysis
  • Lease negotiations
  • Project Management
In whatever shape the process takes, the objective is the same; to provide information and service that enables our clients to have 100% confidence in their final decision.
